Dianne Meyer-Sasada, M.S., M.F.T.     (805) 341-3234

Dianne is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has many years of experience in the field of general counseling and  health psychology.

“Most everyone wants to achieve their goals in life. For some, life is easy, while others struggle for what seems their entire lives. I work with my clients to discover long held patterns and beliefs that lead to their current situation. This guided discovery leads to positive changes in their lives. This in turn, sets the wheels in motion towards achieving those goals and dreams.

My approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral and humanistic. As a Marriage and Family Therapist I work with individuals, couples and children. I specialize in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain and illness. I have advanced training in anxiety and panic disorders.

I know that making that first phone call can be difficult, but I would enjoy talking with you and answer any questions you may have regarding therapy. I like to ask my clients this question, "What great thing would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?"”

Dianne provides expert and professional counseling with a specialty in these areas:

  • Panic/Anxiety, Depression
  • Children and Teens Issues
  • Grief and Loss
  • Chronic Pain and Illness

Annette is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She specializes in chronic medical conditions with an emphasis in diabetes, children and adolescent issues, behavior problems, family, and parenting skills.

Counseling can help to alleviate the pain that makes life difficult.   With teens and children, I provide tools to help them become more focused, responsible, and make better decisions.   With adults, I help them to achieve their full potential through reduction in anxiety and stress while increasing satisfaction and fulfillment.

I provide counseling to children, adults, and family members to help cope with the issues related to diabetes and other chronic medical conditions. As a Type 1 diabetic, I understand the stress and frustrations that go along with diabetes management.

"Diabetes is a disease that is escalating to 23 million people in the US with 15,000 youth diagnosed annually with this disease. That’s why having counseling and support groups are essential".
